Coleen Rooney reveals remark Trump made about her at White House meeting
Luigi Mangione, the alleged killer of UnitedHealthcare's CEO, mentioned filmmaker Michael Moore in his manifesto as an example of someone who has "illuminated the corruption and greed" of the United States health system. Moore investigated the health care industry in his 2007 film Sicko . In Mangione's manifesto, he wrote, "Many have illuminated the corruption and greed (e.g.: Rosenthal, Moore), decades ago and the problems simply remain." Newsweek reached out to Moore for comment via email on Thursday. What has Michael Moore said about the UnitedHealthcare CEO shooting? Three days before Mangione was charged with the murder of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York, Moore wrote on his Substack about the killing. In a December 6 post, two days after Thompson's death, Moore spoke about both gun violence and the American health care system. He wrote, "Each year nearly 50,000 Americans are killed by gun violence. And each year over 100,000 Americans die from infections they pick up when they visit or check into our nation's health care facilities. How is this possible in the 21st century in the wealthiest nation on Earth?" Moore cited a statistic from the medical journal The Lancet , writing, "13% of Americans have a family member or friend who have died in the last 5 years because they simply couldn't afford medical treatment." A 2019 Gallup and West Health poll reported similar findings, with about 34 million people affected. UnitedHealthcare is the largest single health carrier in the U.S. In 2023, it had the highest rates of claim denial compared to other plans by Cigna, Blue Cross Blue Shield, Aetna, and others. "While the gun deaths will make headlines if it's a mass shooting at a school or a church, or if it's the assassination of a multi-millionaire CEO in New York, the 186 who will die today due to a broken healthcare system, one that is run primarily by insurance men, we will not hear one word about that tonight, their names shall never be mentioned," Moore wrote. He continued: "No other industrialized country on Earth so willingly and heartlessly lets a few large corporations literally decide who shall live and who shall die — a decision that is based solely on profit motive." He then shared a clip from Sicko . He has not authored another Substack or any social media posts about the shooting since Mangione has been identified. What is Moore's' Sicko' documentary about? Sicko examines the American health insurance and pharmaceutical industry. It compares the U.S. health system to universal care systems in Canada, the United Kingdom, France and Cuba. The nearly 2-hour long film explores the politics of universal health coverage proposals in the U.S. and connections to pharmaceutical companies. The film has a 91 percent rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes and received various awards, including a nomination in 2008 for Best Documentary Feature at the Academy Awards. What does "deny," "depose," and "defend" mean? Three bullet casings found by police at the scene of Thompson's killing had words related to the health insurance industry inscribed "deny," "defend," and "depose." The words are believed to be related to law professor Jay Feinman's 2010 book Delay , Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don't Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It . The book argues that some companies in the insurance industry are actively denying legitimate claims. Just before midnight the day of the assassination, a new meme coin called "Deny. Defend. Depose." was launched. Meme coins are a form of cryptocurrency typically created as a joke or prank, in contrast to more serious online currencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Bryson DeChambeau is 0-for-91 (and counting) in his ace chase. @brysondechambeau Thirteen days ago, Bryson DeChambeau published a 40-second video to his social channels. The reigning U.S. Open champion was standing in his driveway in shorts, a T-shirt and a Crushers (his LIV team) hat turned backward. By his feet was a hitting mat pinned down by dumb bells. Behind him, two stories of floor-to-ceiling glass that is the façade of his gleaming Dallas-area home. Out of the picture, on the far side of the house: an artificial green in DeChambeau’s backyard. A hole cut a few paces off the front edge of that green was the target for the shotmaking challenge DeChambeau was about to explain to his audience. “This is Day 1 of trying to make a hole-in-one over my house,” he says in the video. “And because it’s Day 1, I only get one ball.” The implication: If DeChambeau did not hole that shot — it looks to be approximately 100 yards — he’d come back on Day 2 for two more attempts, and on Day 3 for three more swipes, and so on. Alas, DeChambeau did not jar that first try, though he did come close, his ball landing a couple of feet in front of the hole before stopping about 18 inches past it. His stunt would live to see another day. And another. And another. And well, as of Sunday, DeChambeau still has not made an ace. He is now 0-for-91, albeit with more than a handful of shots that looked destined to drop before stopping just short of the hole or veering just right or left of it. A post shared by Bryson DeChambeau (@brysondechambeau) If DeChambeau’s swing has failed him, though, the internet has not. His now 13-part series has cumulatively driven more than 50 million views on Instagram, with millions of more eyes finding the videos on TikTok, YouTube and X. Among those following along is the comedian Bert Kreischer, who on Day 10 wrote in the comments, “Im way too invested – I’m now rooting for you to not get a hole in one so this doesn’t stop.” Added another commenter, “Day 10 of asking you to hit it straight into a window.” That’s an unlikely result; DeChambeau is far too skilled. But the mere prospect of a bladed shot undoubtedly is part of the videos’ allure. So, too, are all the agonizingly close misses. According to the National Hole in One Registry, the odds of a professional golfer making a hole-in-one are roughly 3,000 to 1 . But that stat isn’t particularly useful in this instance given DeChambeau is hitting the same shot over and over and from a distance much shorter than the length of most par-3s that pro golfers are accustomed to playing. Golf stats whiz Lou Stagner, who said he is “hooked” on DeChambeau’s quest, estimated on X that DeChambeau’s odds of holing out on any given driveway swing are about 1 in 175. Assuming those odds, Stagner computed that DeChambeau’s chances of making an ace by Day 10 were 27 percent; by Day 15, 49.7 percent; and by Day 30, 93 percent. Predictably, bookies also have set lines. On Thursday, Oddschecker handicapped the chances of DeChambeau holing a shot before Thanksgiving at -150, or 60 percent, and the odds of him breaking a window at +160, or 38.5 percent. Whatever DeChambeau’s chances, his latest made-for-virality escapade is yet more evidence that no player is more successfully bridging the gap between “Pro Golfer” and “YouTube Golfer” than the 31-year-old DeChambeau. One week, he might be smashing drives on the LIV tour or locking horns with Rory McIlroy at the U.S. Open, the next he might be blasting tee balls through cardboard or watching a Space X launch with Donald Trump and J.D. Vance. Speaking of the President-elect, DeChambeau’s attempt at breaking 50 with Trump as his sidekick has now garnered more than 13 million views on YouTube. Ace chases aren’t a new gag. The DP World Tour’s excellent social-media team has been orchestrating them for years, challenging its players to make a hole-in-one with 500 swings or fewer. Earlier this year Barstool Sports personality “Jersey Jerry” spun up his own ace chase when he hopped on a simulator and pledged not to leave before he jarred a tee shot, live-streaming every hook, slice and top. After 37 hours and 2,627 swings, the internet rejoiced when Jerry mercifully achieved his goal. DeChambeau’s challenge is something different, though, because (1) he has a finite number of attempts in each installment, and (2) with the metronome-like consistency of his mechanics, every swing could be the one. DeChambeau’s seventh swing on Day 13 certainly looked to be. That try landed just short of the hole before rattling the stick and bouncing in and out of the cup. ”Are you kidding me?” DeChambeau said, clenching his hands behind his head. “Oh my god, how does that happen?” Day 14 drops tomorrow. Perhaps one of DeChambeau’s tee shots finally will, too. Cleo is currently developing a new patch for the flaw but nothing is currently available for the issue, which means the vulnerability is a zero-day under active attack. The attacks appear to have begun on Dec. 3 and have claimed at least 10 victims across multiple sectors, including consumer products, trucking and shipping, and the food industry, according to researchers at Huntress Labs who are tracking the activity. A search for vulnerable, Internet-exposed Cleo systems suggests that the actual number of victims may be higher, the security vendor said. Rapid7 also said it had received reports of compromise and post-exploit activity involving the Cleo vulnerability from multiple customers. "File transfer software continues to be a target for adversaries , and for financially motivated threat actors in particular," Rapid7 wrote in a blog post on Dec. 10. The company recommended affected organizations take "emergency action" to mitigate risk related to the threat. More than 4,200 customers from multiple industries such as logistics and transportation, manufacturing, and wholesale distribution use Cleo software for a variety of use cases. Some recognizable names include Brother, New Balance, Duraflame, TaylorMade, Barilla America, and Mohawk Global. Huntress identified the vulnerability that Termite is targeting as CVE-2024-50623 , an unauthenticated remote code execution (RCE) flaw in versions of Cleo Harmony, VLTrader, and LexiCom prior to 5.8.0.21. Cleo disclosed the vulnerability in October and urged customers to immediately upgrade affected products to the fixed version 5.8.0.21. However, the patch appears to have been insufficient, because all previously affected versions of Cleo software, including the patched 5.8.0.21, remain vulnerable to the same CVE, Huntress said. "This vulnerability is being actively exploited in the wild and fully patched systems running 5.8.0.21 are still exploitable," Huntress researcher John Hammond wrote. "We strongly recommend you move any Internet-exposed Cleo systems behind a firewall until a new patch is released." Cleo has acknowledged the issue and said it plans to issue a new CVE, or identifier, for the bug. In an emailed statement, a company spokesperson described the flaw as a critical issue. The statement noted that Cleo has notified customers about the threat and advised them on how to mitigate exposure till its patch becomes available. "Our investigation is ongoing," the statement said. "Customers are encouraged to check Cleo's security bulletin webpage regularly for updates." Hammond said Huntress's analysis of the threat actor's post-exploit activity showed the attacker deploying Web shell-like functionality for establishing persistence on compromised endpoints. Huntress also observed the threat actor enumerating potential Active Directory assets with nltest.exe and other domain reconnaissance tools. In comments to Dark Reading, Huntress director of adversary tactics Jamie Levy says that available evidence points to Termite as the likely perpetrator. Like the victims of the ongoing attacks, Blue Yonder had an instance of Cleo's software open to the Internet, she says. Termite claimed Blue Yonder as one of its victims and appeared to confirm it by publicly listing files belonging to the company, Levy notes. "There have been some rumblings that Termite might be the new Cl0p," Levy says, and data has emerged that appears to substantiate those claims. Also, Cl0p's activities have waned while Termite's activities have increased. Both are operating in similar fashions. "We're not really in the attribution game, but it wouldn't be surprising at all if we are seeing a shift in these ransomware gangs at the moment," Levy says. Max Rogers, senior director of security operations at Huntress, described the new Cleo zero-day as something that enables easy access to Cleo systems for attackers with the exploit code. "The most effective immediate action is to ensure that affected systems are not accessible from the Internet, which significantly reduces the risk of exploitation." Rogers additionally recommends that organizations disable the autorun feature in Cleo software to limit the attack surface while waiting for an updated patch. "However, at this time," he says, "the only guaranteed way to protect systems is to make them inaccessible over the Internet until a new patch is out." The new Maharashtra assembly will have 10 Muslim legislators, the same number in the outgoing house. Of them, six are from the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, including five from Mumbai. Community groups have pointed out that the Muslim Members of Legislative Assembly (MLA) will constitute around 3.5% of the 288-member house, much lower than their proportion in the state's population -12-13%. The low representation comes after the disappointment in the community after the parliamentary elections in May when there was no Muslim among the 48 Members of Parliament from the state. Maharashtra's 78-member Legislative Council does not have a Muslim member after two members from the community finished their terms in July. “10 out of 288 MLAs. That is 3.47% of the house. That is too low,” reacted a community member to the election results, suggesting that the only way the community could get proportional representation in the assembly was if at least 30 seats were directly filled with nominees from Maharashtrian Muslims. The number of Muslim MLAs in Maharashtra's assembly has hovered around 10 for more than two decades after reaching a figure of 12 in 1999. Their numbers then fell in every subsequent election, from 11 in 2004 to 10 in 2009 and 9 in 2014 before rebounding to 10 in 2019. After the council elections, when none of the major political parties nominated Muslims for the to the council elections, community leaders in Mumbai had announced the setting up of a group called 'The Muslim Pressure Group' to lobby for better representation in the government. “Everything was going on well after the group was formed. In the parliamentary elections in May, Muslims voted for the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). We were hoping that the MVA will field more Muslim nominees,” said Altaf Patel, chief of the Muslim Pressure Group. Shabbir Ansari, Founder-President of All India Muslim OBC Organisation, said that their group met Congress leaders like Mallikarjun Kharge, Nana Patole, and NCP's Sharad Pawar to ask for adequate representation for Muslim candidates. “But they did not fulfill the promise. There are seats in Solapur, Nagpur, Pune, and other districts from where Muslim MLAs have been elected earlier. Muslims were not nominated from these seats. Only one seat out of the 46 in Marathwada was given to a Muslim nominee. There were no Muslim nominees in Vidarbha. At least Ajit Pawar's NCP gave some seats to Muslims. Congress did not do much,” said Ansari. Patel said that announcements by clerics like Maulana Sajjad Naumani, a religious scholar based in Mumbai, that Muslims will support 269 MVA candidates could have caused a counter-mobilisation of Hindu votes in favour of the BJP-led MahaYuti. “After the announcement was made, the matter was discussed in the national media for nearly three days. Leaders like Raj Thackeray reacted to this by saying that fatwas are being issued from mosques asking Muslims to vote for MVA. This created negative publicity and Hindus voted for MahaYuti. There was no need for such an announcement. Local voters know who they should vote for. In Thane, Muslims favoured a Hindu candidate over a Muslim candidate because they trusted his work," said Patel. Dr Azimuddin of the group, Movement for Human Welfare, who had announced the list of candidates endorsed by Naumani, did not respond to a request for a comment, saying that he was busy with meetings related to Muslim personal law. Adding to the disappointment in the community about the low number of MLAs is the fact that four of the 10 have been elected with margins of less than 4000 votes. The Malegaon MLA scraped through with a lead of 162 votes over another Muslim candidate. Haroon Khan of the Congress won the Versova seat with a margin of just 1600 votes. Three sitting Muslim MLAs, Nawab Malik, Zeeshan Siddique, and Farook Shah, lost from Mankhurd-Shivaji Nagar, Vandre East, and Dhule, respectively. In the last assembly, Malik had represented Anushakti Nagar, a seat won by his daugher Sana Malik this time. Muslim MLAs Malad: Aslam Shaikh, Congress Mumbadevi: Amin Patel, Congress Anushakti Nagar: Sana Malik, NCP Mankhurd-Shivaji Nagar: Abu Asim Azmi, Samajwadi Party Versova: Haroon Khan, Shiv Sena (UBT) Bhiwandi East: Rais Shaikh, Samajwadi Party Akola West: Sajid Khan Pathan, Congress Malegaon Central: Mufti Mohammad Ismail, AIMIM Kagal: Mushrif Hasan, NCP Sillod: Abdul Sattar, Shiv Sena

Outpatient diagnostic centers, equipped with advanced imaging systems and staffed by credentialed technologists and board-certified radiologists, are benefiting from AI integration, offering cost-effective imaging services-2 to 6 times more affordable than hospital-owned centers-without compromising care quality. These centers also benefit from high utilization rates of imaging machines, helping to lower operational costs. However, the market faces challenges such as declining reimbursements and rising demand for services. In response, the industry is witnessing consolidation, with large players like Affidea in Europe and Radnet in the US emerging as key operators. As these companies expand, they aim to enhance operational efficiency and meet the growing demand for imaging services. The ongoing integration of AI is expected to drive the continued growth of the medical imaging market, offering substantial improvements in diagnostic capabilities and patient care. Revolutionizing Healthcare: The Role of Virtual and Augmented Reality in Medical Imaging Virtual and augmented reality (VR/AR) technologies are transforming the healthcare industry, particularly in medical imaging. By integrating VR/AR with 3D imaging data, healthcare professionals gain powerful tools for visualization and procedural planning. Augmented reality, in particular, overlays digital information onto the real-world environment, enhancing a clinician's ability to see and interpret medical data in relation to a patient's anatomy. For example, during surgeries, AR can project 3D medical images directly onto the patient's body, providing real-time guidance and improving surgical precision. This allows surgeons to navigate obstacles like tissues or organs and perform operations with greater accuracy, reducing risks. AR also enables the overlay of critical patient information, such as diagnostic data and real-time physiological parameters, directly into the surgeon's view, supporting better decision-making during complex procedures. As VR/AR technologies advance, their integration with medical imaging holds the potential to revolutionize healthcare, improving patient outcomes and redefining care standards across medical specialties. The United States Dominating the AI in Medical Imaging Market In 2023, the US accounted for a dominant 95.47% share of the North American AI in medical imaging market, contributing $1.2 billion in revenue globally. The growing preference for AI-based medical imaging software among radiologists and hospitals, along with the US's advanced healthcare system, has significantly driven this market's expansion. AI is increasingly adopted across the healthcare sector, automating workflows, improving accuracy, and enhancing patient outcomes. Favorable reimbursement policies, such as those introduced by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), have further incentivized AI adoption. New procedural codes for AI tools like IDx-DR and Viz.ai have streamlined payment systems, boosting AI integration. As AI continues to reduce treatment costs and improve efficiency, its role in medical imaging is set to expand further in the US. Looking for More Information? Miss Kitty and Mr. Gray were settled in for their evening of rest, And detected no activity as the rats were stealthily doing their new best. Feed bags on pallets were stacked neatly five feet tall, Escape was easy, the villains left with mouths full, climbing the wall. To the top loft they went, feet clambering for quick traction, The old cats were not roused, dreaming of Fancy Feast, they took no action. When the barn lights illuminated the feed room, the damage was clear, The rodents had bested our night guardians, they had no apparent fear. We needed a plan yet at our stable, rat traps and poison are taboo, With so many unwanted vermin, we needed a younger cat, maybe two. To the local animal shelter, we went to find our new patrol partners here, We adopted two youngsters, Tut and Giza, who are agile, fearless, and dear. Will they be good hunters, only time and practice games will tell, But we all are smitten with their playful antics, things are going well. Nothing disrupts a good night’s rest in the barn like an invasion of vermin. How can I get my beauty sleep with those nasty creatures dining freely on my upcoming meal? It simply gives me nightmares. This is a troubling problem. Ask any horse owner who pays around $30 per bag for quality horse feed. Poison is not a good solution. It can kill unintended wildlife and domestic pets that ingest the bait or a poisoned mouse. We have owls, hawks, and eagles present, but they were not eliminating these pests, and a rodent-free barn is clearly a necessity. Five years ago, when we moved to this new ranch to expand our equine rescue operation for Helping Equines Regain Dignity (HERD), two cats were conveyed with the property, Miss Kitty and Mr. Gray. Both were from the local animal shelter. They took vigilant care to ensure we had no rodents living in our barn on their watch. Peace reigned at night. The only winter visitors in the stable were a few doves who roosted in the loft to be out of the elements. However, this year, the established cats are showing their age. Most of the time, they are asleep. They cannot contend with this influx of field rats who have moved in to disrupt our lives. Here is my accessory list of what every swell barn needs: a pest-free feed storage room, a temperature-controlled tack room housing well-oiled saddles and bridles, a grooming area, and comfortable, well-ventilated stalls. Oh, and let’s add lots of clean bedding for those of us who would never dream of sleeping out in the pastures at night. You never know what could be lurking out there in the woods or up in the trees. How to address this rat problem was top of mind. Step one was to purchase the old-fashioned Victor wooden rat traps. Well, the only thing that suffered from being snapped in those were a few human fingers. Step two was to order highly rated Tomcat Rat Snap Traps. Even with peanut butter, sugar, and cornbread bait, there were no takers for these traps either. I tell you; these rats are very intelligent. My mistress Heather Freeman jokes they must be Harvard-educated rodents in our barn. So, what to do next when none of the internet forums on getting rid of rats proved to be helpful? The answer was clear to me. Go to the local animal shelter and adopt a few cats who need a home. Our barn cats have comfortable bedding for sleeping, and a room of their own to be out of the elements with a cat door. They are well-fed as we are not asking them to eat the filthy rodents. I say, “Please dear cats, just scare the dirty little vermin away. I need my rest. Scampering rats at night are very disruptive.” Step three was a trip to the local animal shelter. Heather and her husband Scott Homstead went with two cat carriers in hand. I was not allowed in as the Spokepony of HERD. No equines can enter the visitors’ area. I left the task of choosing the right cats to protect our feed stash up to Heather. She asked the shelter staff if there happened to be two black cats available, as these are said to be the least adopted. However, this was not the case that day. Instead, the cats most in need of a home were seven-month-old kittens, a brother, and a sister, who were surrendered to the shelter in June 2024. No one had expressed interest in them. They were housed in a cage out of sight of visitors. Heather and Scott waited patiently in a hallway for these two to be brought up to meet them. Both cats were shy but had very striking coats. “We will adopt these today,” said Heather. She went to the office to pay the fee and sign the papers. The kittens were given the names Tut and Giza. They look rather exotic, like something drawn on the walls of an Egyptian tomb. They have slim bodies, slightly elongated ears, and regal heads. Once home, Heather posted photos of the new arrivals on Facebook. A friend, Andrew Evans, immediately commented that these cats were a lesser-known breed called Ocicat. He owned an Ocicat and said what first appears to be stripes on their sides are in fact spots, like an ocelot, and their bellies should be tan with black round spots. And this is exactly how Tut and Giza are marked. Unknowingly, Heather and Scott brought home two fancy-bred cats. What a surprise, they are just like me, a treasured find! How amusing that our new barn cats introduced out of necessity are truly a wonderful, new and rare accessory.
Haute Beauty Expert-Approved Holiday Gifts For Everyone On Your ListThe still-rumored Samsung Galaxy S25 and its siblings could rank among the absolute best phones of 2025, and there’s probably not long to wait for them, with a launch rumored for January. While nothing will be known for certain about these phones until then, we do have a good idea of what to expect, as there has been an influx of leaks and rumors. As such, combined with our own educated guesses, we’ve been able to collate a partial list of the likely specs you’ll find on these phones, which we’ve detailed below. Samsung Galaxy 25 rumored specs The base Samsung Galaxy S25 won’t have as much high-end tech as the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra , but this phone could still impress. Rumors suggest the Samsung Galaxy S25 will have a roughly 6.2-inch screen , and while the resolution has not been leaked, we predict it will be 1080 x 2340, just like the Samsung Galaxy S24 , since the rumored screen size is the same. That would translate to a pixel density of around 416 pixels per inch, and the Samsung Galaxy S25 is also sure to have a 120Hz refresh rate, since its predecessor does, and since higher refresh rates are typically reserved for gaming phones . There has been some disagreement over which chipset will be used, but sources seem to now agree that the Samsung Galaxy S25 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite , which is Qualcomm’s top smartphone chipset. Multiple leaks also suggest the Samsung Galaxy S25 will have 12GB of RAM . That’s more than the 8GB in the Galaxy S24. But even if these leaks are right, it’s possible there will also be 8GB models. Storage capacities are unknown for now, but we predict Samsung will once again go with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models – though it’s not impossible that the 128GB model will be ditched or that a 1TB version will be added. For cameras, TechManiacs reports that they’ll be the same as on the Samsung Galaxy S24, meaning a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 12MP ultra-wide, a 10MP telephoto (with 3x optical zoom), and a 12MP front-facing camera. We’d take this with a pinch of salt since we’ve only heard it from one source, but the fact that we haven’t heard other camera leaks rather suggests that not much is changing. Finally, we’ve heard that the Samsung Galaxy S25 might also have the same size battery as the S24 , at 4,000mAh. Samsung Galaxy 25 Plus rumored specs Information tidbits suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus will have a 6.66-inch screen , which will probably be marketed as 6.7 inches, just like the display on the Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus . We can guess, therefore, that its other screen specs might largely match the S24 Plus too, perhaps meaning a 1440 x 3120 resolution for around 513 pixels per inch. And the Galaxy S25 Plus will also almost certainly have a 120Hz refresh rate, since that’s the standard for high-end handsets. For the chipset, we’re expecting a Snapdragon 8 Elite . In fact, the Snapdragon 8 Elite will probably be used in every Galaxy S25-series model . Some benchmarks suggest the Snapdragon 8 Elite could even perform better than the chipset in the iPhone 16 Pro Max , so this could be a big win for Samsung. That chipset will reportedly be joined by 12GB of RAM in the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus , which would be no change from the Galaxy S24 Plus. There’s no word yet on storage, but there’s a good chance Samsung will stick with the same capacities as the current model, meaning 256GB and 512GB versions. Our only real camera information comes from the TechManiacs report linked in the Samsung Galaxy S25 section, pointing to the same megapixel counts as the Galaxy S24 Plus. That would mean a 50MP main camera, a 12MP ultra-wide camera, a 10MP telephoto camera (probably with 3x optical zoom), and a 12MP selfie snapper. And we’ve heard from that same source that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus will have a 4,900mAh battery, just like its predecessor. Samsung Galaxy 25 Ultra rumored specs The best specs are likely to be reserved for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, which rumors suggest will have a 6.86-inch screen , likely to be marketed as 6.9 inches. That will make it marginally larger than the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra ’s 6.8-inch display. We haven’t heard what resolution the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s screen will be, but given the likely size increase there’s a chance it will be higher than the 1440 x 3120 of the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. We also haven’t heard what the refresh rate will be, but we’re almost certain it will be 120Hz, since that’s the standard for most high-end phones. As with the rest of the Samsung Galaxy S25 series, it’s reported that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and in fact we’re even more sure this phone will get that than the other models, since some earlier leaks pointed to other chipsets for the rest of the line, but not for this. We’ve also heard that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra might have 16GB of RAM , though it’s not clear whether that would be the starting amount or just the amount you get in the top configuration. Either way though, that’s an improvement on the 12GB found in every configuration of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, and it should help give any Galaxy AI features a boost. There’s no news on storage, but the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra comes in a choice of 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB, and we’d think those same capacities are likely to be offered again. The cameras could get an upgrade though, with sources suggesting the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will have a new 50MP ultra-wide camera , up from 12MP on the current model. However, the other cameras reportedly won’t be changing, meaning a 200MP main sensor, a 50MP 5x telephoto, and a 10MP 3x telephoto, along probably with a 12MP camera on the front. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra’s battery also reportedly won’t be any bigger than the S24 Ultra’s , with leaks suggesting it will once again be 5,000mAh, and will once again charge at 45W. Samsung Galaxy 25 Slim rumored specs Along with the Samsung Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25 Plus, and Galaxy S25 Ultra, leaks have suggested a Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim is on the way , and this might land alongside the other models. However, we don’t know much about it yet. From what we’ve heard, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim could have a better camera than the base Galaxy S25 . One tip even suggests the Galaxy S25 Slim will have an ‘Ultra’-level camera . So it may impress for photography, and of course it should also be thinner than the rest of the S25 series, though reportedly Samsung hasn’t been able to make the S25 Slim as thin at it would like . We don’t really know anything else about this phone, which is why we haven’t included a specs chart. But we can predict that it will probably have a 120Hz refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset like the rest of the S25 line.
